NOTICE : Change to the calendar! The studio will be
CLOSED Monday through Friday, from June 30th to July 4th and open
again Saturday, July 5th. These are the floating days, no make lessons are needed.
AUDITIONS for the Sunrise Ballet Theatre’s 20th annual
production of “Nutcracker” will be Saturday, August 16th. These auditions are free and open
to the public, and there is pay for some parts. There are three performances scheduled December 13th & 14th. For updated
information, visit the Sunrise Ballet Theatre page on the www.HirschlBallet.com web site. Reminder: This is not a Hirschl
School production, and not a dance recital, regular studio lessons will not be used as rehearsal times.

SOCIAL ETIQUETTE series: how to be courteous & polite, what to say and do in a variety of social situations.
Being well-mannered and polite are important, valuable and beneficial in today’s society. Sign-up sheets and information
are in “The Book” in the studio lobby.
Our 29th annual dance recital was terrific! I hope all students, parent volunteers, teachers and audience enjoyed the production;
My personal thanks to all. I can’t wait until next year! Always, I try something new, and something challenging. It’s
more of a growing experience that way– for everyone. (Ask Mr. Hirschl about “Dance on Trial”.)
Let’s keep the kids off the “streets” this summer. Take some extra dances classes! The
studio will be open pretty much the whole summer, and we’re planning on keeping the same schedule.
Sunrise Dancing Princess Birthday Parties! Have a magical ballerina birthday party in a real dance studio! Games & prizes, food & drinks, music &

The next CEA (Curriculum Evaluation & Assessment) will be Monday, June 30th, from 4:30
to 7:00PM. All students in ballet levels 2, 3 & 4 will be evaluated
at this time. Details are in the lobby information book. There are no sign up sheets for this, as we do expect to have all
ballet level 2, 3 & 4 students in attendance.
There will be new CEA for DANCE-PREP & ballet level
one students, ages 4 to 7 years Saturday, June 28th, from 12 to 1:30 PM. Details in the lobby information book. There are
no sign up sheets for this, as we do expect to have all Dance-prep and ballet level one students in attendance.
New DANCE PREP class starting July
9th on Wednesdays at 4:30 pm, taught by Richard Hirschl! Mr. Hirschl taught this age/level for 34 years, then took one
year off. A great class to have as a second class per week, or to switch into for convenience!
A new class! “SOCIAL HIP-HOP”. It has all the basic hip-hop steps, and is taught
in a social dance (like ballroom) format. Open to teens & adults. Check the schedule for times!
YOGA in the Mornings! We’re taking sign-ups for our new yoga classes taught by Amy Valdez. Details
and sign-up sheets are in the lobby information book.
The 2008 SUMMER BALLET INTENSIVE will be August 18th to the 22nd. Details are in the lobby information book.
